Tigin Irish Pub will reopen on March 1
Management is still “working through [the] details”
STAMFORD — Tigín Irish Pub is set to reopen on March 1 after it temporarily closed on Jan. 17 earlier this month, according to Tigin’s management.
“At this time we are still working through all [the] details,” said Fado Pubs Inc. Regional Manager Kieran Aherne in an email to Feather Ruffler. Fado Pubs Inc. owns Tigín in Stamford and several Irish pubs across the country.
Tigín closed on Jan. 17 coinciding with the resignation of the business’ general manager. At the time, Tigín had changed its schedule to be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays due to lack of management staff to cover shifts on those days.
Aherne said more information would be available “in a few weeks,” but did not comment on if the establishment was still looking for management staff or if it would reopen for Mondays and Tuesdays.
